1. What is Mor Aor Kor 1155-2536 ? Who will get the benefit ?
Mor Aor Kor or TISI is the name of Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI). It is the certificate approved the standard of product by The Industrial Products Standards Act B.E. 2511 (1968) was promulgated with approval of the Cabinet and control by Ministry of Industry. Standards are developed according to the government policy in consumer’s protection, industrial promotion to be competitive in the world market, environmental protection and natural resources preservation. If the factory is not following the rule, Ministry of Industry will cancel the certificate accordingly. Please call 2023464-7.
2. Whai is BTU ?
A British thermal unit (Btu) is a standard unit of energy that is used in the United States and sometimes in the U.K. It represents the amount of thermal energy necessary to raise the temperature of one pound of pure liquid water by one degree Fahrenheit at the temperature at which water has its greatest density (39 degrees Fahrenheit). The Btu is often used as a quantitative specification for the energy-producing or energy-transferring capability of heating and cooling systems such as furnaces, ovens, refrigerators, and air conditioners. The heat output of computer equipment is often specified so that it can be considered when planning the size of climate control systems in buildings. Computer device heat output is expressed in Btus per hour. 3.7 Btus per hour is equivalent to 1 watt of heat dissipation

1. Buy an air-con from a reliable dealer! : Beware of, “ No-Name”, Brands, as they can often produce less BTUs than published on their labels. (Approximately 30-20% less.) Furthermore, no-name brand air-cons have poor quality construction and parts, are noisy, have a shorter life, often requiring repair.
2. Select an air-con, which has DSM no. 5 or 4. : Consider, as well, The TISI Certificate and standards. These certificates guarantee the quality, efficiency, energy savings and fully rated BTU capacity. There is only one authentic Certificate, although copies of it and products also exist.
3. Select your air-con company on the basis of sales education, after-sale assistance and service, and well-trained staff.
4. A Dealer / Service Center that has earned Certification and Authorization from such organizations as; TISI, CE, JIS, ISO, etc.
5. Chose a Dealer with a Hi-standard of after- sales services.
6. 6. Select an air-con system that suits your room size. Avoid using your air-con unit for more than 8 years. (This will cause negative environmental effects.)
